ASSISTANT SCHOOL CARETAKER/CLEANER

Salary:                               £15,807 per annum

Working arrangements:       37 hours per week (flexible)

Start date:                         September 2017

Contract:                           Permanent

 

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and self-motivated person who would like to provide a key role in maintaining our school site, to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for the whole school community. Duties will include:

 

  • Carry out and record basic checks and help maintain Health and Safety records

  • Support the maintenance of property and grounds

  • Undertake minor repairs, general maintenance and assist with decorating

  • Undertake porterage duties

  • Undertake cleaning duties whilst managing the team of school cleaners

  • Provide back-up and assistance to the Caretaker

 

Previous experience would be beneficial but training will be provided.

CLEANER

Salary:  £7.78p per hour

Working arrangements: 10 hpw / 44 weeks per year

Term time (39 weeks): 6am to 8am Monday to Friday inclusive or

                                      4pm to 6pm Monday to Friday inclusive

                                      Working hours flexible between morning / evening

School holidays (5 weeks)   10 hours per week, times by arrangement 

Start date: September 2017

Contract: permanent

 

We are looking to appoint enthusiastic, conscientious and dedicated Cleaners who take a pride in their work.

You must be willing to undertake a range of cleaning duties around the school.   Previous experience would be beneficial but training will be provided.
