Congratulations to our Year 7s for their entries into the Cambridge University 'Myths and Legends' competition. Joshua Cobbold worked hard on his Minotaur model, and claimed 1st place in the school competition, and we are also pleased to announce that 2nd place went to Esme Orbell, Ruby Deaden Phillips, Amy Houghton, Isabella Welch and Emily Rudd for their amazing video based on the story of 'Theseus and the Minotaur'.
It was a scary Halloween at SAA when students discovered how much left over food waste comes from our pumpkins each year. Students were asked to make recipes from their leftover pumpkin flesh and we saw some amazing creations.

It has been an amazing first year at Sybil Andrews Academy! The school year ended with a wonderful assembly looking back on the past year, celebrating achievements, enjoying performances and also watching photo collaborations and videos. It was lovely to see students and staff embrace these special moments!
Well done to all who took part in the first ever Sybil Andrews Academy Sports Day - July 2017! Students did themselves, their Houses and the school very proud! What a fantastic and well deserved win for team Garrett!
