Aims of the Key Stage 4 Curriculum
The Sybil Andrews Academy Key Stage 4 curriculum aims to develop successful learners who enjoy learning; confident individuals who have high aspirations; problem solvers who are able to solve complex problems, and leaders who make a positive contribution to our school, Trust and wider community.
The curriculum plan reflects local and national priorities. At the heart of our curriculum design are the principles of academic achievement, progression, balance and choice. We know that when students see their study as a step towards achieving future goals this encourages motivation, determination and resilience. We still provide every student with a clear sense of purpose and direction as they embark on their KS4 programme of study.
