An exciting lunch menu is hugely important at Sybil Andrews Academy.

Working together with our catering company, Caterlink, we have tried to create a nutritious menu to suit all individual requirements.

There should be something for everyone including tasty hot dinners, healthy snacks and vegetarian options are also available. 

The current school menus are available to view in the attachment menu.

There is also a great daily selection of sandwiches, baguettes, wraps and salads available.

Free School Meals

If you are struggling financially and would like to find out if you are entitled to free school meals you can now only apply online.

If your child is eligible for, and has been registered to receive free school meals between 1 April 2018 and 31 March 2025, they will remain eligible until they finish their current phase of schooling (primary or secondary). This is regardless of any change to your circumstances.

From 1 April 2025, all eligible applications will be regularly reviewed.

All children who have become eligible after 1 April 2025 will have their entitlement reassessed before the start of the 2025/2026 school year. If you do not meet the eligibility criteria at this time, then your child will not receive a free school meal at school in September.

If your circumstances change, you will need to reapply and we will review your eligibility.

Please note that paper applications will no longer be accepted. You will not be able to apply over the phone because you need to provide an email address, password and sign the declaration stating that you have parental responsibility.
